Data and account control
Delete an account or child profile
Request deletion by email today. Self-service deletion is planned but is not yet described as a feature already available.
Effective: 11 October 2026 · Version 1.0.0
Jepify lets families manage their own accounts and Child Profiles. This page describes the current email process and a planned in-app process separately. The Privacy notice provides the full data-processing details.
Request deletion now
Email privacy@dynamikus.com from the email address associated with your Guardian Account. Ask for either:
- Delete Family Account: your Guardian Account and its family and Child Profiles, where you have the authority to request this; or
- Delete Child Profile: a specified child’s profile and associated family records, without deleting unrelated family members’ records.
If you use Apple or Google sign-in, mention the method. You may use the child’s nickname to identify the profile. Never send us passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary identification documents.
We may need to confirm your identity and authority before acting. We respond to valid GDPR rights requests without undue delay, normally within one month. A verified email deletion request has no planned seven-day app grace period. We explain what was removed or, if a legal exemption applies, why some information must be retained.
Children can request their own data rights
A Child User can email privacy@dynamikus.com directly or ask a trusted guardian for help. We consider the child’s rights, age, safety and the scope of parental responsibility before responding. A product restriction on editing individual reward records does not cancel a child’s legal rights to rectification or erasure.
In-app deletion (planned; not yet available everywhere)
The intended guardian-only path is Guardian Home → Settings → Delete account and family, or Remove a child’s profile, followed by re-authentication and a clear confirmation. Labels may change before release.
The planned in-app workflow disables child device access immediately, allows a seven-day cancellation period, then initiates deletion within 24 hours. This is a design description, not a claim that the exact workflow is currently shipped. Once released, these instructions will be updated to match the actual app. Valid statutory erasure requests are handled under the rights process regardless of an optional product grace period.
What is included
Depending on the scope and valid legal exceptions, a family or profile deletion covers:
- Guardian sign-in identity and the relevant family membership;
- Child Profile, nickname, pairing grants and device access;
- responsibilities, completion history, notes and weekly reviews;
- reward agreements, outcomes, records marked as given and linked corrections;
- relevant notification tokens and settings.
Removing one Child Profile does not automatically delete the Guardian’s account or unrelated Child Profiles.
What cannot be removed instantly?
- Backups: copies of removed family data can persist for up to 90 days until the backup cycle expires. The documented restoration design reapplies deletion before restored data becomes available.
- Operational logs and crash records: some are not practically linked to a named profile and expire by their own periods. Unverified infrastructure-log periods remain identified in the Privacy notice.
- Optional usage events: withdrawal ends further collection; raw events already collected become unlinkable through the documented pseudonym mechanism and expire within 90 days. Unlinkability must not be confused with immediate physical deletion.
- Minimal compliance records: a minimised consent-history record and deletion proof can be retained for three years according to the purposes and lawful bases described in the full notice. They must not retain the child’s ordinary family history.
Where applicable law requires a different result or gives an individual a separate right, that law takes priority over these standard technical timelines.
Correcting an individual record
While retained, some reward-history records are intentionally append-only so one family member cannot quietly rewrite the child’s history. A Guardian can use the product’s correction flow where available. You can also request correction or erasure under GDPR where the legal conditions apply. “No selective edits in the interface” does not mean “no legal rights.”
Export before deletion
There is not currently a self-service export button. Before requesting deletion, you can ask privacy@dynamikus.com for a copy of relevant personal information. We will assess access and data-portability rights and provide information in an appropriate format. Not every item is necessarily subject to Article 20 data portability.
Contact or complain
