For children

Your information. Your rights.

Jepify is a family app. Here is what it knows about you, and what you can do about it.

Effective: 11 October 2026 · Children’s privacy explanation, version 1.0.0

This is written for children, including readers around 11–13. It explains the main points; the full Privacy notice has more detail. You do not have to agree to the adult Terms of Service to read this page or to ask us about your information.

What does Jepify remember?

Your parent or guardian creates your profile, using a nickname. They can add responsibilities (sometimes called Missions), schedules and family rewards. The app remembers which responsibilities were done, which need more work, and how your family’s weekly review went.

You do not need to give us your own email address, phone number or birthday to use the current child profile. Your device uses a secure connection made by your guardian; you do not need to create or remember a separate password.

Who can see it?

Your family’s guardians can see the responsibilities, progress and reward information they manage. You can see your own tasks and progress. Jepify does not show your optional usage analytics to your family and does not compare your personal progress with other children.

People who keep the app running can access limited information when needed for their work. We use specialist technology suppliers for sign-in, cloud storage and notifications. The full Privacy notice explains more about these suppliers and where information may be handled.

What about crashes and usage information?

Two different things can happen:

  • Technical information: some information about errors, crashes and device operation helps identify problems and protect the app. It is not collected to judge you or award rewards. It may include technical device information.
  • Optional usage information: when valid permission is given for your profile, Jepify may record limited information about app screens, actions and technical timings to improve the product. It does not include the text of your responsibilities, names, messages, reward amounts or location. It is handled separately from your normal family history.

Optional usage information is not required to complete responsibilities or earn rewards. Saying no does not change how your family uses the core app.

Who decides about optional usage information?

Privacy rules are not the same everywhere. In Finland, children aged 13 or over may give their own GDPR consent in the applicable online-service situations; for younger children, the guardian normally makes the relevant consent choice. Different age rules can apply in other countries.

For current early access, your guardian can change the usage-information setting. A child who has their own legal right to make that decision can contact privacy@dynamikus.com to confirm, refuse or withdraw permission. You can also ask us to stop optional usage information, even if you are not sure which country’s rule applies. We will explain the available route. The future child-side control described in the full Privacy notice is not yet a promise that the button exists in this version.

We do not need your full birthday just to answer a privacy question.

Does Jepify track where I go?

The current app does not record your location or follow you around. Location features mentioned in older product ideas are not part of this version. If that changes, the app and this notice must explain the new feature and its permissions before it is used.

We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising. Jepify does not send your optional usage information to your guardian or use it to decide whether you deserve a reward.

What if something is wrong?

You have rights over information about you. You can ask what we hold, ask for incorrect information to be corrected, request deletion where the law allows, object to certain uses, and ask other privacy questions. Your guardian can help, but you can contact us directly too.

  • Email privacy@dynamikus.com.
  • Do not send passwords, private messages or identity documents unless we specifically need something to verify a request securely.
  • We normally respond to data-rights requests within one month and explain if a legal exception applies.

You can also read how account and child-profile deletion works. Leaving a family, revoking device access and deleting your information are different things.

How long is information kept?

Most family records remain while your profile exists. Closed weekly reward records normally follow a 24-month retention policy, with a separately explained exception for rewards not yet marked as given. Optional raw usage events are kept for at most 90 days. Backups of deleted family information may remain for up to 90 days. See the retention summary for the exact details and exceptions.

One last thing

Your privacy choices are not a test and you do not earn more rewards by allowing analytics. If you are worried about information in Jepify, you can ask for help. The app is supposed to help your family, not make you feel watched.
